As an Early Childhood Teacher, you’ll be part of a passionate team in our purpose-built centre, creating experiences that spark curiosity, build confidence and support children to develop a genuine love of learning.
In this role, you’ll:
- Create engaging, play-based learning experiences that follow children’s interests and strengths
- Make the most of our spacious indoor and outdoor environments, encouraging children to explore, discover and take on new challenges
- Build meaningful relationships with children and families and celebrate their learning and development
- Bring Guardian’s unique ‘To BE Me’ learning program to life
- Support our Flying Start to School program and help prepare children for a confident transition to school
- Work alongside Educators to create an inclusive environment where every child feels a strong sense of belonging

About Guardian Gawler
Our
Gawler centre has been designed with children’s learning, curiosity and wellbeing at its heart. With spacious outdoor areas, including a sandpit and cubby house, children have plenty of opportunities for discovery, play and adventure. Inside, thoughtfully designed learning spaces provide rich, age-appropriate resources that encourage children to explore their interests and develop their skills.
Located in
Willaston, the centre proudly supports families across Gawler and surrounding communities, creating a welcoming environment where children, families and Educators can feel part of a genuine community.
Here’s what you’ll bring:
- Completion of the national mandatory Child Protection training via the GECCKO platform
- Tertiary Qualification (University Degree or equivalent) in Early Childhood Education as approved by ACECQA
- Current Teacher’s Accreditation/Registration (NSW, SA, VIC & WA)
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework
- Previous experience working in the early childhood sector (desirable)
- Current Working with Children Check
