About the Role
Are you a passionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Sunshine Kebabs Aspley is looking for enthusiastic, reliable Store Managers and Assistant Managers to join our team! You will be hands-on in daily store operations, delivering great food and exceptional customer service while keeping the store running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Front of House
- Welcoming customers, taking orders accurately, and handling point-of-sale (POS) transactions.
- Communicating effectively with customers to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Handling customer feedback and queries professionally.
Food Preparation & Cooking
- Prepping fresh ingredients, salads, sauces, and meats daily.
- Cooking and assembling kebabs, wraps, bowls, and sides to high quality standards.
- Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Store & Inventory Management
- Monitoring stock levels and placing timely orders with suppliers.
- Receiving, inspecting, and organizing deliveries (FIFO inventory management).
- Opening and closing duties, including cash balancing and end-of-day reports.
- Managing kitchen cleanliness, sanitation schedules, and equipment maintenance.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Previous experience in retail, food service, or fast-casual hospitality (management or supervisory experience preferred).
- Skills: Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Certifications: Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Attributes: Reliable, team-oriented, punctual, and comfortable working in a high-energy environment.
- Availability: Flexible to work weekdays, weekends, and evening shifts.
