We are looking for Female support worker who have strong communication skills, personal resilience and the ability to be creative and think outside the box as you support participants to fulfil their goals.
Participant Details: Participant is 35-year-old male participant living in Epping with his mother. The participant has schizophrenia and diabetes and requires support with:
Activities of Daily living which includes meal prepration, laundary, cleaning house, help particiapnt with personal hygiene (if needed),
Timings: 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 05:00 PM to 08 :00 PM
Experience in a similar role will be highly regarded but not essential. We will provide support and necessary training for people who have the personal qualities valued by the people we support.
Apply if you live near Epping area and willing to cover full day ( 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 05:00 PM to 08:00 PM) and have availability for 3-4 days, Immediate start.
Role Requirements
· Certificate III/ IV in Disability, Community Services or Mental Health, or Minimum of 1 year work experience as a support worker.
· Valid driver’s license (Must)
· Own comprehensively insured Car (Must)
· Current First Aid and CPR
· NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
· NDIS Worker Orientation Module
· Working rights in Australia
