Cafe Grind is looking for an experienced Barista / Café All-Rounder to join our growing team.
We're a specialty coffee-focused café that takes pride in serving exceptional coffee, quality food, and genuine customer service. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for someone who is reliable, passionate about hospitality, and ready to become a key part of our future.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in all aspects of café operations, including:
- Preparing high-quality espresso-based coffee
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Taking orders and processing transactions
- Assisting with food preparation and service
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
- Supporting the team during busy service periods
- Opening the café on designated mornings
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 3 years' barista experience
- Strong coffee knowledge and confidence working independently on the machine
- Consistent milk texturing, espresso extraction, and workflow management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliability and punctuality
- A genuine passion for coffee and hospitality
Highly Regarded
- Previous café opening experience
- Experience working in fast-paced café environments
- Food preparation experience
- Leadership or team-leading experience

Availability
Applicants must be available for at least two opening shifts per week, commencing at 5:20am.
