As our boutique continues to grow, we’re looking for a creative Marketing Assistant (or paid Marketing Intern) to join us and help bring the AFTER FIVE brand to life.
Whether you’re currently studying marketing, communications, fashion or creative industries, or you’re already building your career, this is an opportunity to gain real hands-on experience in a fast-growing luxury fashion business where your ideas will actually be seen, valued and implemented.
This isn’t a coffee-run internship.
You’ll be creating content, attending photo shoots, helping shape campaigns, building our online presence and working alongside our Creative Director to bring exciting ideas to life.

What you’ll be doing…
No two days are ever the same, but you’ll be involved in things like:
- Creating beautiful content for Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook and YouTube
- Filming, editing and photographing content in-store and on location
- Assisting with styled shoots, events, trunk shows and new collection launches
- Writing engaging captions, blogs, product descriptions and email campaigns
- Uploading new gowns and products to our website while supporting SEO
- Assisting with digital advertising campaigns and marketing initiatives
- Monitoring campaign performance and celebrating the wins
- Researching trends and bringing fresh ideas to the table
- Working alongside photographers, bridal creators, venues, makeup artists and other industry professionals
- Helping maintain our luxury brand aesthetic across every customer touchpoint
- Supporting exciting future projects as AFTER FIVE continues to grow
We’re looking for someone who…
You don’t need to know everything; we can teach you.
What matters most is your attitude, creativity and willingness to learn.
You’ll probably be a great fit if you:
- Are currently studying (or have recently completed) Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Fashion or a similar degree
- Have a genuine love for fashion, bridal or luxury brands
- Have an eye for beautiful aesthetics and thoughtful branding
- Enjoy creating content and aren’t afraid to jump in front of the camera
- Are confident writing copy and communicating with different people
- Love social media and understand what makes people stop scrolling
- Are organised and able to manage multiple projects
- Enjoy working both independently and collaboratively
- Bring positive energy and genuinely love learning
Bonus points if you have experience with:
- Canva
- Adobe Creative Suite
- CapCut
- Shopify or website management
- Mailchimp or Klaviyo
- Photography or videography
- Basic SEO
- Meta Business Suite

Position Details -
Location: Underwood, Brisbane
Employment: Casual
Hours: 8-20 hours per week (with additional hours available for the right person)
Pay: Will be determined on experience and skill set.
This role is based in-store with flexibility around university commitments.
