We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Salon Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our salon and lead our team to continued success.
Key Responsibilities
As Salon Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the daily operations of the salon to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery. Supervising, motivating, and supporting salon staff to achieve performance and customer service objectives. Managing staff rosters, attendance, leave arrangements, and workflow allocation. Ensuring high standards of customer service and client satisfaction are maintained at all times. Handling customer enquiries, feedback, and resolving any complaints professionally. Monitoring salon performance, sales, and productivity and implementing strategies to improve business outcomes. Managing stock levels, ordering products and supplies, and maintaining inventory records. Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, hygiene standards, and relevant industry regulations. Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees. Promoting salon services and products and implementing marketing and customer retention initiatives. Maintaining accurate records of appointments, staff performance, sales, and salon operations. Monitoring and controlling operational costs while ensuring service quality standards are maintained.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, applicants should possess:
- At least one year of relevant work experience in a salon, beauty salon, or related customer service management environment. Certificate III in Hairdressing, Certificate III in Beauty Services, or an equivalent qualification. Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills. Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Sound organisational and problem-solving skills. Experience with appointment scheduling, staff supervision, and salon operations will be highly regarded.
