As an Administration Officer (AO3) in the Property Operations and Support team, you'll play an essential role in ensuring the smooth delivery of services that support Queensland's Housing and Homelessness Services. Based in Brisbane, this permanent, flexible full-time role involves processing rates and water payments, managing departmental systems, and supporting the team with administrative and reporting tasks. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of providing housing solutions to the diverse communities of Queensland.
What you'll do:
Process rates and water payments efficiently and accurately, ensuring council discount deadlines are met.
Liaise with Local Government and Water Service Providers to ensure timely transactions.
Provide high-level administrative support, including preparing briefings, correspondence, and reports.
Administer departmental systems such as RAPS, TRIM, SAP, and others to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the department and other agencies to support service delivery outcomes.
Monitor and review work practices, identifying opportunities for system and process improvements.
Promote workplace safety and ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
