What would I be doing?
As an Intake Officer, you will play an essential role in managing and coordinating the registration, intake and onboarding of people with disability seeking employment opportunities.
Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
Being the first point of contact to welcome and support people with disability on their journey towards gaining employment and building their career. Conducting intake and assessment of clients’ needs, to identify suitability for services and eligibility requirements.
Developing tailored job plans including addressing and identifying barriers to employment to help achieve positive outcomes for clients.
Building strong relationships and local community networks (such as schools, community organisations etc) to support referrals and engagement for clients.
