Aurenne is looking for an experienced Exploration Drill Fitter to join our growing maintenance team on a permanent full-time basis.

About the role
Working from our mobile maintenance workshop, you'll be responsible for maintaining and supporting our fleet of exploration drill rigs, ensuring maximum reliability and uptime. You'll also travel to nearby drill sites, all within approximately 30km, to complete inspections, diagnostics and breakdown repairs. Our rigs fleet includes UDR1000, Hydco 350, Austex 350, Hanjin and two Schramm 685.
Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

Planned servicing and preventative maintenance
- Breakdown diagnosis and repairs
- Fault finding and troubleshooting
- Inspections and condition monitoring
- Maintaining a high standard of safety and reliability
- Working closely with drilling and maintenance teams
About you

Australian recognised Trade Certificate - Engineering Mechanical Fitting or HD Mechanics.
- Current Australian manual drivers' licence (HR Licence preferred)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role working on drill rigs within the mining or a related industry.
- Own tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work safely.
- Current national police clearance
