Truck Driver (Float Operator) – Civil Construction

CLMU Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and reliable Truck Driver to operate a float transporting civil construction equipment across Western Sydney.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role responsible for the safe and efficient transport of machinery between job sites. You’ll play a key part in keeping our projects moving on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a float truck to transport plant and equipment (e.g. excavators, rollers, skid steers)
- Load and secure machinery safely in line with regulations
- Conduct daily pre-starts and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Coordinate with site supervisors and project teams for deliveries and pick-ups
- Maintain accurate delivery records and compliance documentation
About You
- Valid HR/HC/MC truck licence (HC or MC preferred)
- Proven experience operating a float and transporting heavy equipment
- Strong understanding of load restraint and safety requirements
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Good knowledge of Western Sydney roads and job sites
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
