Cleveland Agriculture is a large privately owned business that is involved in irrigated and dryland cropping, along with grass and grain fed beef production. We are currently seeking experienced full time machinery operators for all enterprises. This includes our fleet of John Deer and Case equipment. You will be involved in all aspects of the crop cycle from soil preparation, planting, pest management and harvest.
The successful applicant will be
● Highly motivated and able to show initiative
● Able to work effectively in a team environment
● Mechanically minded
Experience in the following areas is required
● Machinery operation skills
● Basic cropping cycle knowledge
● Strong communication skills
● Spraying, ground prep, planting, harvest and earthworks. (advantageous)
● A HC licence would be an advantage
● Applicants must hold current Chemcert certificate (or willingness to obtain)
A competitive salary package including accommodation, work vehicle and phone is available. The position is located at Mungindi in northern NSW. This is a hands on position and only applicants looking for permanent work need apply.
