About the role:

We are looking for passionate Head Chefs (Casual Opportunities) to join our Hospitality team, preparing high-quality meals at our Residential Services in Ashburton.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Prepare and serve high-quality, nutritious meals you would be proud to put in front of your own family.
- Draw on your experience across multiple cuisines to bring variety and creativity to every menu.
- Lead a team of kitchen staff including recruitment, rostering, supervision, teaching and delegation.
- Uphold exceptional food safety, hygiene and compliance standards.
- Reduce food waste and champion sustainable kitchen practices.
- Perform confidently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
- Bring genuine hospitality values and a willingness to grow within the Aged Care sector.
Hours of Work:
- Casual opportunity.
- Monday to Friday
- 5 shifts per week, 9:30am-5:30pm.
- Occasional cover for staff leave and special functions required.
Locations:
Essentials
- Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Working Rights in Australia
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (minimum)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial kitchen experience
- Experience in Aged Care preferred (not essential)
