The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Advisor to join our team in a hands-on, generalist role supporting all aspects of the employee lifecycle. Working closely with leaders and employees across the organisation, you will ensure legislative compliance, provide practical HR solutions, analyse workforce trends, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance our people practices and organisational performance.
Key accountabilities:

Manage end-to-end administration of workers compensation claims, including lodgment, documentation, and liaison with insurers, treating practitioners, and injured employees.

Update and maintain HR records and databases, complying with administrative systems and processes, to ensure that all information is current, accurate, accessible and stored correctly whilst identifying and providing recommendations for continuous improvement.

Administer WHS documentation, including incident reports, hazard registers, and inspection checklists.

Monitor and update RTW plans and suitable duties arrangements, escalating delays or non-compliance.

Identify and analyse emerging issues, trends, statistics and information relating to employee life cycle activities to inform effective decision making, including preparing reports, submissions and information.
About You

Tertiary qualifications in Business, Human Resource Management, or a related discipline, supported by a minimum of two years experience in a comparable Human Resources role.

Strong knowledge of employment legislation and industrial relations frameworks, including employment law, modern awards, Work Health and Safety (WHS), Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), and anti-discrimination legislation.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships, influence outcomes, and communicate confidently with employees, managers, and stakeholders at all organisational levels.

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands, manage multiple tasks, and work independently while maintaining attention to detail.

Demonstrated adaptability and resilience, with the ability to respond effectively to changing priorities and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
