Senior Fire Protection Engineer – Building Services
Join a well-established Building Services team in Melbourne delivering fire protection design across a diverse portfolio of projects. This role is suited to a Senior Fire Protection Engineer who can confidently run small to mid-size projects independently, while contributing to larger, multidisciplinary developments.
The role
You will take ownership of fire protection design and project delivery from concept through to completion, working closely with clients, architects and project teams. You will also play a key role in building client relationships and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
What you’ll do
Lead fire protection design and documentation on small to mid-size projects independently
Support delivery across larger, complex multidisciplinary projects
Act as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders
Ensure technical quality, compliance and coordination across designs
Mentor and support junior team members
About you
Degree qualified in Engineering or similar
Strong experience in building services fire protection consulting
Proven ability to deliver projects end-to-end
Confident working directly with clients and managing relationships
Experience across a variety of sectors such as commercial, health or infrastructure
Solid understanding of Australian codes and standards
