We are seeking an experienced and reliable Dental Assistant to join our friendly team for Mondays and Tuesdays (8:45 am – 5:30 pm), with the potential for additional shifts by mutual agreement.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about patient care, works well in a team, and takes pride in delivering high-quality clinical support. This role is best suited to an experienced dental assistant who can confidently step into the position with minimal training and quickly become an integral member of our team.
Applications from trainees and entry-level candidates will not be considered. We are seeking an experienced dental assistant who can confidently perform chairside duties from commencement.Previous experience as a dental assistant is essential. A Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (or equivalent) is highly regarded.Key skills and attributes
- Proven chairside dental assisting experience.
- Ability to work independently, anticipate the dentist's needs, and maintain an efficient chairside workflow with minimal supervision.
- Strong knowledge of infection control and instrument reprocessing.

Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance for a range of dental procedures.
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms before, during and after appointments.
- Perform instrument cleaning, sterilisation and reprocessing in accordance with infection control standards.
- Ensure surgeries are fully stocked and well organised.
- Assist with the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.
- Deliver professional, caring and friendly service to every patient.
- Work collaboratively with the clinical team to maintain a high standard of patient care.
