What You'll Do

Take part in pre-start meetings, safety briefings and toolbox talks.

Assist with sheep work including mustering, drafting, yard work, animal husbandry checks and livestock movements.

Help out with lamb marking, crutching, shearing preparation and other seasonal sheep work.

Ride two-wheel motorbikes for mustering

Operate manual vehicles and machinery and complete pre-start checks.

Maintain fences, gates, yards, water points, pipelines along with motorbikes and vehicles

Support day-to-day station operations and contribute to a positive, safe and hardworking team culture.
What You'll Need

A genuine interest in living and working on a remote sheep station.

A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team.

Sheep handling, two wheel motorbike, machinery or agricultural experience, or a willingness to learn.

Confidence riding a two wheel motorbike will be highly regarded

A current manual driver's licence; a motorbike licence is desirable but not essential.

The ability to work safely, follow direction and contribute to practical station tasks.
School leavers are encouraged to apply, with training and mentoring provided for people who are ready to learn.

You'll be supported by an experienced and friendly team that wants you to learn, contribute and succeed.
Physical Requirements: This is a physically demanding role involving indoor and outdoor work in varied weather conditions. Duties may include walking over uneven ground, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, gripping, pushing and pulling, as well as working in sheep yards and around livestock, vehicles, machinery and equipment. The role includes frequent lifting of 5-20 kilograms and occasional heavier tasks.
