Side Lift Kerbside Collection Driver (HR Licence Required)

Warrnambool Greenwaste is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Side Lift Kerbside Collection Driver to join our team. This role involves operating a side lift collection vehicle to service FOGO (Food Organics and Garden Organics) kerbside bins throughout the Warrnambool area.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, values excellent customer service, and understands the importance of maintaining high-quality FOGO collections by helping keep contamination to a minimum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a side lift collection truck on designated kerbside collection routes.
- Collect FOGO bins efficiently and in accordance with collection schedules.
- Identify and report contaminated bins in line with company procedures.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
- Follow all road safety, workplace health and safety, and environmental requirements.
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner while working in the community.
About You:
- Current HR (Heavy Rigid) Truck Licence (essential).
- Previous side lift or waste collection experience preferred.
- Strong commitment to safety and responsible driving.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Good attention to detail, particularly in identifying contamination in FOGO bins.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
