IT Support Officer – Curtin University (Australia)

We are seeking a customer-focused IT Support Officer to provide technical support to staff and students while ensuring the reliable operation of the University's IT systems and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first- and second-level IT support via phone, email, online service desk, and in person.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and Microsoft 365 issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Support classroom technology, audiovisual systems, and digital learning platforms.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and system updates.
- Maintain accurate support records and collaborate with IT teams to resolve technical issues.
- Follow cybersecurity, privacy, and IT service management policies.
Skills & Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in an IT help desk, desktop support, or technical support role.
- Knowledge of Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team.
- Experience with IT service management tools (e.g. ServiceNow) is an advantage.
Pay: From $7,920.00 per month
