About the Role
As a Clinical Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating clinical care and leading frontline teams to ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality support. You’ll balance hands-on clinical responsibilities with leadership, coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and oversee high-quality clinical and personal care
- Lead, mentor, and support Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Care Workers
- Develop and maintain person-centred care plans in collaboration with residents and families
- Coordinate assessments and ensure AN-ACC requirements are met
- Monitor clinical practice through audits and drive continuous improvement
- Promote a safe, welcoming and home-like environment
- Liaise with families, allied health professionals, and external stakeholders
About You
We’re looking for a confident and compassionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced aged care environment.
Essential Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration (current)
- Demonstrated leadership experience in aged care or similar setting
- Strong clinical knowledge of aged care and complex health needs
- Excellent communication, documentation and relationship-building skills
- Ability to prioritise, delegate, and manage team performance
- Commitment to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement
Highly regarded:
- Aged Care IPC Lead qualification
- Experience with AN-ACC
- Strong understanding of aged care legislation and accreditation standards
