First Purpose is rebuilding our Perth fundraising team and we're looking for social, confident people to join us.
We work with leading charities and NGOs, helping them find new regular supporters through face-to-face fundraising.
But the job is only part of it.
Our teams travel together, work together, go away together and make some pretty incredible memories along the way.
People regularly join First Purpose with a friend.
Others join on their own and end up making friends they travel Australia with.

Get paid to travel!
Travel is a huge part of what we do.
Depending on the campaigns we're running, our teams can travel throughout:
- Western Australia
- Queensland
- New South Wales
- Victoria
- Other interstate locations
- New Zealand — sometimes for 3–4 weeks at a time
For approved company work trips, we cover the flights, accommodation and rental vehicles.
Trips can involve teams of up to around 10 people travelling together.
You work during the week, then you've got the weekends to explore somewhere new with your mates.
Road trips through WA.
A few weeks working in New Zealand.
Interstate campaigns on the east coast.
Some of the best memories our team have made at First Purpose have happened while travelling for work.

We've had fundraisers work hard for a month or two, take some time off to travel, head to Bali or explore Australia, then come back and work again.

What you'll earn
This role is paid under the Miscellaneous Award 2020, plus superannuation and performance bonuses.
Adult base rate: $26.50–$30.00 per hour + super, depending on classification, experience and role.
Approximately:
35 hours per week:
$900.90–$1,050 base + super
38 hours per week:
$978.10–$1,140 base + super
Then there are performance bonuses.
Fundraisers consistently achieving their targets typically earn an additional:
$500–$1,000 per week
That means a strong on-target fundraiser can be earning around:
$1,400–$2,100+ per week
And there's plenty of upside for exceptional performers.
Some of our highest-performing fundraisers have earned more than $4,000 in a week.
Bonuses and commissions are performance-based and aren't guaranteed.
Applicable Award penalty rates and entitlements are paid where required.
So what do you actually do?
We're a team helping NGOs and charities raise the long-term funding they need to do their work.
You'll work alongside other fundraisers speaking with members of the public and introducing them to the charity you're representing.
If someone connects with the cause, you'll help them become a regular monthly supporter.
That's it.
You don't need to be an experienced salesperson.
We'll teach you how to approach people, have good conversations, explain a cause properly and become confident at fundraising.
And unlike a lot of face-to-face jobs, much of our work is indoors in shopping centres and other approved venues.
Air conditioning is pretty underrated in Perth.
What we provide

No experience? That's completely fine.
Some of our best fundraisers started with zero fundraising experience.
