The Team & Role
Join a supportive multidisciplinary team providing evidence-based, person-centred care to patients with a broad range of communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders. Commencing within subacute inpatient services at the Mornington Centre, with the opportunity to work across other inpatient sites, this role offers exposure to a diverse clinical caseload within a collaborative model of care. As a Grade 1 Speech Pathologist, you will develop effective partnerships with patients, families, carers and multidisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes, while contributing to a culture of continuous learning, quality improvement and service development. You will be supported through regular clinical supervision and an active professional development program, with opportunities to work alongside students and further develop your skills in a positive and supportive environment. Skills & Experience Required
Eligible for practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
Demonstrated excellence in adult Speech Pathology service provision in accordance with person-centred care principles.
Commitment to multidisciplinary team collaboration.
Continuing Professional Development engagement and commitment to evidence based practice.
