Sesame Kids Early Learning Centre is a family-owned and community-focused service seeking a passionate and motivated Director to lead our team alongside the Operations Manager.
We are looking for someone who is not only an experienced leader, but someone who genuinely values relationships, teamwork and creating a positive culture within the workplace. This role is ideal for a person who enjoys mentoring others, problem solving, supporting their team and building strong connections with children and families.

The service is expected to open at the end of August 2026. The successful applicant will be expected to commence approximately one week prior to opening to assist with preparing the service, supporting team organisation, ensuring compliance requirements are in place and helping create a smooth and successful transition into operation for both families and staff.
This role has a strong emphasis on driving occupancy growth through building positive relationships within the community, creating strong family connections and leading a high-quality service that families feel confident and excited to be part of.
About the Role:
- Lead and support the day-to-day operations of the service
- Work directly under the guidance and direction of the Operations Manager/Approved Provider
- Follow directions, expectations and operational procedures set by the Operations Manager/Approved Provider in a timely and professional manner
- Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager to achieve service goals and maintain high operational standards
- Guide and mentor educators to achieve high-quality practices
- Drive occupancy growth and community engagement
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and the wider community
- Support a positive team culture focused on collaboration and growth
- Ensure compliance and service operations are maintained to a high standard
- Demonstrate strong time management and organisational skills
- Be flexible with working hours when required
- Support the service in a hands-on leadership capacity where required
