Sandy Kiosk is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Full-Time Barista to join our busy and vibrant café team in Sandringham. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional coffee and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages.
* Operate and maintain commercial coffee equipment.
* Provide friendly and efficient customer service.
* Take customer orders and process transactions accurately.
* Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the café, coffee station, and service areas.
* Assist with food preparation, display, and service as required.
* Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control.
* Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety requirements.
* Assist with opening and closing procedures.
Skills and Experience
* Previous experience as a Barista in a busy café environment.
* Ability to consistently produce high-quality espresso-based coffee.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Positive attitude and strong team-player mentality.
* Availability to work weekends, public holidays, and rotating rosters.
Requirements
* Current Australian work rights.
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
* Reliable, punctual, and professional presentation.
