Occasional Child Care Centre is an Exceeding-rated, community-managed early childhood service seeking an experienced **Diploma Qualified Educator** to join our Under 3’s team. We are looking for an educator who understands the significance of the first three years of life and is committed to providing warm, responsive and respectful care and education for infants and toddlers. This role would suit an educator who values relationships, works collaboratively within a team, actively contributes to the educational program, and enjoys creating engaging learning environments that reflect children’s interests, strengths and developmental needs. **About You** The successful applicant will demonstrate: * A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care * Experience working with children aged 0-3 years * A strong understanding of relational pedagogy and responsive practice with infants and toddlers * The ability to build secure, trusting relationships with children and families * A collaborative and flexible approach to teamwork * The ability to contribute to planning, documenting and reflecting on children’s learning alongside colleagues * Confidence in creating authentic, engaging and developmentally appropriate learning environments * An understanding of child-led learning and play-based approaches * Strong observation skills and the ability to respond thoughtfully to children’s cues, interests and emerging capabilities * Knowledge of the VEYLDF, EYLF and National Quality Framework * A strong commitment to child safeguarding, Child Safe Standards and the paramount consideration of children’s safety and wellbeing * Excellent communication skills and a commitment to ongoing professional learning **About Our Service** At Occasional Child Care Centre, relationships are at the heart of our work.
