About the Role
We are seeking experienced Blast & Paint Supervisors to support current and upcoming shutdown, maintenance and project works across Australia’s largest mine sites . In this casual FIFO role, you’ll access consistent work across 90+ client sites, competitive rates and genuine long-term career opportunities within a well-established national contractor.
As a Blast & Paint Supervisor you will be responsible for:
Supervising works to ensure all is completed to the client and company specifications
Leading a team of trade and non-trade personnel to accomplish key deliverables
Liaising with Linkforce clients and site-based personnel
Planning and scheduling work and labour requirements
Monitoring progress against the work schedule
Record and monitor team members performance, provide mentorship and address issues where necessary
Incident investigation and reporting
Supervise and conduct visual inspections of work to ensure it meets required standards and client specifications (QA/QC).
Ensuring adherence to all statutory requirements and company HSEQ standards and procedures
What You’ll Need
Minimum of 2 years leadership experience as Leading Hand or Supervisor
Certificate 3 in surface preparation and finishing
Coatings inspector Nace level 1 – (Desirable but not mandatory)
Familiar with abrasive blasting and painting QA/QC process.
Schedule 26 training
BHP & Rio inductions are desirable but not essential.
A strong commitment to health and safety
Construction White Card
A National Police Check
