Koukla Hair Studio in Niddrie is seeking a qualified and experienced Hairdresser to join our team in our well-established beauty salon. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work in a vibrant and creative environment and contribute to the ongoing success of our established business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cutting, trimming, colouring, bleaching, and styling hair
- Performing blow-drying, straightening, curling, and treatments (e.g., keratin, protein, and other smoothing treatments)
- Providing professional advice on hair care and styling to clients
- Shampooing, conditioning, and treating scalp and hair
- Maintaining cleanliness of work areas and complying with health and safety regulations
- Consulting with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable styles or treatments
- Hairdressing experience combined with a strong passion for education and sharing knowledge
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of proven relevant work experience
- Recognised skills in all aspects of hairdressing
- Knowledge of current hair trends and fashion techniques
- Good communication skills in English
- Persian (Farsi) language preferred to better serve our diverse clientele
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide high-quality customer service
- Must be able to work every Saturday
What we offer:
- Full-time employment contract
- Minimum 38 hours per week
- Annual salary between AUD $75,000 – $80,000 (based on experience)
