Sci-chem International Pty Ltd is an Australian healthcare company focused on providing complete commercialisation solutions through formulations and product development, process and quality controls, regulatory approvals, clinical research, contract manufacturing and marketing. We are seeking Technical Product Specialists – Sales and Regulatory Affairs to join our company in Prestons, Sydney.
These are permanent, full-time positions (38 hours per week).
Main duties
· Provide product detailing and training to health care professionals. Deliver comprehensive product presentations and educational sessions to healthcare staff including medical practitioners, pharmacists, nurses, and allied health staff
· Provide thorough clinical product education to pharmacies and doctors regarding the correct use of medicines. Communicate product features, benefits, indications, contraindications, dosage information, and clinical evidence in a clear and compliant manner
· Evaluating and qualifying all technical product data sheets, and consumer medicine information against Regulatory guidelines
· Assist Sales Teams with technical product information and ensure all Sales Teams are providing information within the Therapeutics Goods Advertising Guidelines and the approved label claims and indications
· Respond to consumer complaints and reporting all pharmacovigilance activities
· Collecting and evaluating technical Information on all medical products and raw materials that the company is engaged with that is in circulation and that which is in development
· Assist the Business Development and Marketing teams to grow domestic and international sales and expansion of the distribution of the company’s medical products
· Provide regular product training to the external Field Sales Team
· Assist with all aspect of products, be it technical, chemistry and medical information on raw materials, new products and existing products that the company engages in
· Assist with overseas market authorization in strategic markets where the company intends to sell its products.
Qualification requirements
Relevantly degree qualified:
· Bachelor of Pharmacology or Medical Science; or
· Bachelor of Chemistry or Biochemistry; or
· Bachelor of Pharmacy
Experience requirements
Essential Experience
· Minimum 1 year relevant experience
· Experience with quality, product development, management or sales of medical products, in the pharmacies or within a chemical/pharmaceutical industry
Preferred Experience
· To support the company’s continued expansion of its OTC brand presence globally, candidates with relevant international market development experience will be highly regarded. Experience in Sales, Marketing, and Regulatory Affairs across international markets, including Europe, the MENA region, North America, and Southeast Asia preferred.

Pay: $83,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
