About the Role:
Enerven are looking for experienced metering technicians with multiple positions available in metropolitan Adelaide. We are offering these roles on a 12-month fixed term.
The metering technician will perform a wide range of metering tasks, including:
- The installation, maintenance, and testing of whole current metering equipment,
- The installation, maintenance, and testing of CT metering equipment,
- Investigate and rectify metering equipment communications faults,
- Performing meter accuracy testing and inspections,
- Ensure that all tasks undertaken are performed in a manner consistent with our WH&S policies and procedures and relevant state and national legislation,
- Maintain accurate and timely meter installation and time records.
What you will need:
- SA Electrical Workers Registration,
- Current SA drivers’ licence,
- The ability to learn new skills and adapt to changes in standards, systems, and technologies,
- A can-do attitude with a strong emphasis on Health and Safety,
- Experience with the installation of CT metering would be an advantage but not essential.
Whilst the Metering depot is located at Marleston, you will not be required to start/finish from this location, a lot of the time you will start/finish from your home base. The successful candidate may be required to work overtime, be flexible with working hours, travel to regional areas and work away as needed.
