Hiteck Solutions Australia Pty. Ltd. is a growing roofing contractor specialising in high-quality commercial and industrial roofing projects across Perth. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Metal Roofing Tradesperson to join our team.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a highly skilled roofer with extensive experience across all aspects of metal roofing, roof plumbing and architectural cladding systems.
About the Role
You will be working primarily on commercial and industrial projects including:
- Metal sheet roofing installation and replacement
- Roof plumbing
- Architectural wall and roof cladding
- Flashings and cappings
- Gutters and downpipes
- Box gutters
- Rainwater goods
- Roof penetrations and waterproof detailing
- Insulated panel installation
- Safety systems installation
- Roof maintenance and repairs
- Occasional high-end residential metal roofing projects
You must be able to read plans, work independently when required, maintain exceptional workmanship, and follow Australian Standards and workplace safety procedures.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Minimum 5 years' proven experience in commercial and industrial metal roofing
- Extensive experience in roof plumbing
- Experience installing architectural cladding systems
- Strong knowledge of flashings, gutters, box gutters and rainwater systems
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
- White Card (Construction Induction Card)
- Working at Heights Certificate
- Valid Driver's Licence (manual preferred)
- Reliable transport
- Full Australian working rights
- Strong understanding of WHS requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Highly Regarded
- HR Driver's Licence
- EWP (Elevated Work Platform) Licence
- Forklift Licence (LF)
- Telehandler Ticket
- Rigging or Dogging Licence
- First Aid Certificate
- Confined Space Entry
- Working Safely at Heights (current)
- High Risk Work Licences
- Trade Qualification (Certificate III in Roof Plumbing or equivalent)
