We’re looking for enthusiastic people to join Carlile Swim Ferntree Gully as Swim Teachers.
Whether you’re an experienced Swim Teacher or completely new to the industry, we’d love to hear from you. If you’re new, we’ll support you through your training and qualification pathway. If you’re already qualified, you’ll receive ongoing coaching and development to continue building your skills.
Whether you’re studying, returning to work, looking for flexible hours or looking for your next opportunity in aquatics, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do:
Teach engaging, structured swimming lessons to children of different ages and abilities
Help children build confidence and develop essential swimming skills
Follow the Carlile Swim program to deliver consistent, high-quality lessons
Build positive relationships with swimmers and families
Create a safe, encouraging and fun learning environment
Continue learning and developing your teaching skills
About You:
You don’t need an aquatic background to be great at this role. We’re looking for people who:
Enjoy working with children
Are comfortable and confident around water
Communicate positively with children, families and teammates
Are reliable and can commit to regular weekly shifts
Are open to feedback, learning and following a structured program
Put child safety first
Our swim schools operate across weekdays and weekends, with afternoon/evening and weekend availability highly desirable.
Already hold your Swim Teacher qualification, CPR and relevant state Working with Children Check? Great. If you don’t have them yet, that’s okay – we’ll guide you through what’s required to become qualified.
