About the role
The Project Officer works as part of the Inclusion and System Support team providing support in the coordination of initiatives, programs, and professional learning to promote and strengthen inclusive cultures and practices at a state level.
The role is part of a team that identifies system and process improvements to strengthen inclusive practices across NSW Department of Education and deliver results to enhance educational experiences for students and families with disability.

About you
- Demonstrated experience in project management and business system improvement.
- Sound data analysis skills and the ability to gather, interpret, clearly present and communicate information to support informed decision-making, planning and stakeholder engagement.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

- Hold a current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment (or willing to acquire one)
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
