The primary objective of the position is to generate sales through delivering the highest level of customer service to all Clark Rubber customers and assist in providing a welcoming, clean, neat and well merchandised retail store.
Some of the key responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:1. Serve customers courteously and efficiently ensuring the highest level of customer service standards are met at all times.2. Assisting customers to find the goods and products they are looking for. 3. Assisting customers through answering queries and providing guidance and advice on product selection.4. Achieving sales and gross profit targets as set by the Store Manager.5. Engage with all customers in requesting and collecting their email address as a Mailing List subscriber.6. Operating the Point of Sale system efficiently and effectively, ensuring that all revenue is correctly recorded.7. Stocking shelves and displaying product in accordance with planograms and to our Merchandising Standards.8. Ticketing items within the store in accordance with the Merchandising Standards.9. Reporting discrepancies and problems to the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.10. Start and End of day register balancing/counting.11. Managing customer refunds in accordance with our Refund Policy and approval process with Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.12. Follow and complete housekeeping tasks as listed on the Daily and Weekly Action Lists.13. Deal with customer complaints to achieve a resolution with support from Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.14. Responsible for security within the store and being on the lookout for shoplifters and fraudulent credit cards etc.15. Receiving and storing stock deliveries as required.16. Other tasks and duties as directed
Pay: $24.95 – $45.53 per hour
