The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Facilities Operator – Landfill to assist in the maintenance and safe operation of Council’s facilities, including Council’s wastewater treatment plants and sewerage reticulation systems in accordance with Council policies, community requirements and industry standards. You will be required to monitor, control and assess access and charges to the Landfill ensuring compliance with Council’s policies and procedures. This position includes weekend rostering.
What we are looking for in you
- Current Class C Driver Licence.
- WHS Construction Induction Certificate (White Card).
- Certificate III Water Industry Operations or Certificate III in Waste Management orwillingness to obtain.
- Forklift licence would be highly desirable but not essential.
