Allgreen Retail Nursery – Sales Assistant (Full Time)
Allgreen Retail Nursery is seeking a motivated and reliable Sales Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced retail environment.
About the role:
This position involves a mix of customer service, sales, and administrative duties within a busy nursery setting. You will be assisting customers with plant selection, processing orders, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at the sales podium.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing knowledgeable advice on plants and nursery products
- Assisting customers in-store, at the sales podium, and via phone/email enquiries
- Processing, placing, and following up on customer orders
- Delivering excellent customer service and sales support
- Using computer systems for orders, stock, and communication
- Working efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment
- Making confident decisions when assisting customers
About you:
- Strong knowledge or interest in plants and gardening products
- Confident with computer systems and basic administrative tasks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Sales-driven with a proactive and positive attitude
- Able to multitask and work well under pressure
- Confident decision-maker with attention to detail
Requirements:
- Full-time availability
- Some weekend work is required
