About the Role
Worksforyou is recruiting on behalf of a large and well-established construction company operating in the ACT.
We are seeking experienced and reliable Crane Operators / Dogmen to join a professional construction team and work across major construction and infrastructure projects.
The successful candidates will have between 3 and 10 years of industry experience, hold the required crane operating licenses, and possess all relevant dogging and rigging tickets.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate cranes in accordance with site and legislative requirements
- Perform dogging and rigging duties as required
- Direct and communicate with crane crews and site personnel
- Inspect lifting equipment and identify potential hazards
- Follow SWMS, site procedures and workplace health and safety requirements
- Assist with loading, unloading and positioning materials
- Maintain a professional and reliable approach on every site
About You To be successful, you will have:
- 3–10 years’ experience as a crane operator and dogmen
- Current and relevant crane operating licenses
- Current Dogging High Risk Work License
- Rigging qualifications and experience
- Experience working across construction, infrastructure or industrial environments
- Strong understanding of lifting procedures and safety requirements
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A reliable, professional and safety-focused attitude
- The ability to pass site medicals, drug and alcohol testing, where required
- White Card and reliable transport
Additional tickets, including a forklift license, EWP, working at heights or confined spaces, will be highly regarded.
