Karma Cupcakes is currently looking for a person willing to help grow with the business. I am ideally looking for someone that can offer their unique skills and personal attributes, rather than me having to teach you. Currently I can only offer limited hours of 2 days per week (approximately 16-20 hours/ week), I am flexible to which days but prefer Thursdays and Friday. Preferred hours are 9-5pm but can be flexible depending on your situation.
The selection criteria include:
1. Has prior experience in baking in large scale quantities in particularly with cakes and desserts. Trade qualification in Bakery or similar qualifications is looked at favourably, but not necessarily essential if you have prior experience in baking.
2. Ability to work in a systematic approach
3. Has recognised knowledge in food safety & hygiene requirements
4. Prior experience in working in a team, purchasing & ordering, organisational practices and flexibility in work situations
5. Ability to demonstrate a creative flair and give input into product design.
6. Extra hours can be available if you have experience in cake decorating
