About the Role
Are you an experienced Early Childhood Professional with a passion for mentoring the next generation of educators? We are seeking dedicated and qualified Trainers and Assessors to deliver training, mark assessments, and conduct work placement observations for students enrolled in:
- CHC30125 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- CHC50125 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
In this role, you will play a vital part in guiding students through their learning journey, ensuring they gain the skills, knowledge, and practical experience needed to thrive in the sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Training Delivery: Facilitate engaging online, classroom, or blended learning sessions aligned with current training packages.
- Assessment Marking: Evaluate student submissions prompt, providing constructive, detailed feedback to support their learning progression.
- Work Placement Observations: Conduct on-site or virtual workplace visits to assess student competency in real-world early childhood settings.
- Student Support: Provide ongoing academic guidance, mentorship, and support to help students meet course outcomes.
- Compliance & Moderation: Maintain accurate student records and participate in validation and moderation processes in accordance with ASQA guidelines.
Key Selection CriteriaRequired Qualifications:
- TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or higher equivalent).
- CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher relevant qualification, e.g., Bachelor of Early Childhood Education).
Required Experience & Skills:
- Demonstrated recent vocational experience in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector.
- Strong understanding of current national regulations, the NQF, and EYLF frameworks.
- Proven experience marking assessments and conducting practical workplace observations.
- Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage marking deadlines efficiently.
Licenses & Clearances:
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle (if conducting local on-site observations).
