Temporary Full-Time Funded position until July 2027
We are looking for a passionate and driven Project Manager to lead the Neighbourhoods for Nations (NfN) initiative , a program focused on improving health equity for Culturally and Racially Marginalised (CARM) communities.
This is a unique opportunity to work with communities in Robinvale and Swan Hill to support more inclusive, healthy neighbourhoods through collaboration, co-design and systems change.
A little more about the role
You will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of this funded role working with Council, community and partner organisations. You will support strong collaboration and ensure the project delivers meaningful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver all NfN project activities.
- Support and coordinate partners.
- Facilitate community engagement and co-design processes.
- Establish and support CARM Advisory Groups (CAGs).
- Promote inclusive decision-making and participatory budgeting.
- Build strong relationships across community, government and partners.
- Manage project budget, risks, reporting and compliance.
- Support embedding health equity and inclusion across Council.
What you will bring
- Relevant qualification in public health, community development, social sciences, project management or similar (or equivalent experience).
- Experience delivering community-based projects.
- Strong ability to work with diverse communities, ideally CARM communities.
- Understanding of health equity, co-design or community engagement.
- Experience in working in local government and policy development.
- Strong facilitation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Well-developed networks and understanding of social systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Valid Working with Children Check (employee type).
- A Police Check will be conducted on the successful candidate.
What’s on offer
- Temporary full-time funded role until July 2027 (with possible extension).
- Approx. $100,123 per annum + 15% superannuation.
