1st Year Apprentice Diesel Fitter
We're looking for a 1st Year Apprentice Diesel Fitter to join our team. Applicants who have already commenced their apprenticeship elsewhere are also encouraged to apply.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working on a wide range of heavy machinery across some of the most remote locations in Far North Queensland.
What you'll be doing:
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing diesel-powered equipment and machinery.
- Working on remote cattle stations and in rural/remote townships across Cape York and Far North Queensland.
- Learning from experienced tradespeople while completing your apprenticeship.
What we're looking for:
- Current manual driver's licence (essential).
- Applicants must provide at least two recent work references
- Willingness to obtain additional licences and complete further training as required.
- Strong work ethic, reliability and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work well independently.
- Comfortable working in remote locations and being away from home for extended periods (working overtime)
- Physically fit and committed to safe work practices.

Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour
