About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced bartender who understands that great drinks are only part of the role. What matters just as much is how it’s delivered, with ease, care, and a natural sense of timing. The bar should feel calm and considered at all times, organised, ready, and quietly welcoming, no matter how busy the shift becomes.
In this role, you’ll help shape a bar experience that feels effortless but never accidental. From the classics through to more contemporary pours, everything is delivered with consistency and care, while the atmosphere remains steady and guest-focused.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Preparing classic and contemporary cocktails with precision and consistency
- Offering service that feels personal rather than rehearsed
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-paced bar environment
- Working closely with the team to create a space guests want to return to
- Upholding high standards across quality, presentation, and service
About You
You’re someone who notices the small things and takes quiet pride in getting them right. Experience behind the bar matters, but instinct matters more. You’re comfortable in your craft, measured in your approach, and naturally tuned in to what guests need without it needing to be said.
You may bring:
- Experience across spirits, wine, and classic cocktails
- Strong knowledge of beverage service and mixology fundamentals
- A natural sense of hospitality and attention to detail
- Impeccable presentation and communication skills
- RSA certification (essential)
- Availability across a 7-day roster
Benefits
In return, you’ll find a workplace that values calm confidence over big personalities, where the team supports each other without fuss and hospitality feels natural rather than forced. It’s an environment designed to feel just as considered for those who work here as it does for those who stay.
- Growth and Development opportunities with an expanding global brand.
- Discounted on-site parking – $7 flat rate.
- Additional leave benefits of – birthday, study, life and more.
- Unlimited complimentary barista coffee whilst on duty.
- Global TFE-wide discounted accommodation for staff members, friends, and family (including The Calile Hotel).
- Complimentary stay at The Calile Hotel.
- James Street Precinct retailer discounts.
- Inclusive and collaborative working culture that encourages diversity in thinking and idea generation.
