Security Officer – Static Guard & Mobile Patrol
We are seeking a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Security Officer to join our team in a role primarily focused on Static Guard duties, with occasional Mobile Patrol responsibilities as required.
This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a strong security presence, building positive relationships with clients, and responding effectively to security incidents while remaining flexible to assist with patrol operations when needed.
Key Responsibilities Static Guard Duties (Primary Role)
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence at client sites.
- Monitor and control site access for staff, visitors, and contractors.
- Conduct regular foot patrols and security inspections.
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and security breaches in a calm and professional manner.
- Complete accurate incident reports, visitor logs, and daily activity reports.
- Provide exceptional customer service while ensuring site security and safety.
Mobile Patrol Duties (Secondary Role)
- Conduct scheduled and random patrols of client premises.
- Perform lock-up and unlock services.
- Attend alarm activations and investigate incidents.
- Complete patrol reports and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure company vehicles and equipment are maintained and operated safely.
Essential Requirements
- Current NSW Security Licence.
- Current NSW Driver's Licence.
- Strong communication and report-writing skills.
- Professional presentation and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours.
- Availability to work day, afternoon, night, weekend, and public holiday shifts as required.
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Previous experience in static guarding, gatehouse, concierge, construction site, industrial, or commercial security roles.
- Experience in mobile patrol operations.
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR.
- Working with Children Check
- Good understanding of security procedures and incident response.
- Local knowledge of Campbelltown, Camden, and surrounding areas is highly desirable and will be viewed favorably.
