About the role:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate RN or EEN Nurse to join our team. This role focuses on providing exceptional pre and post operative support to our patients, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their surgical journey.
This is a clinic based position supporting our doctors 1–3 days per week, combined with some days working from home.
This role is ideal for someone with excellent people skills and strong clinical knowledge.
Main qualities we’re looking for:
- A qualified and AHPRA registered Nurse with a minimum of 4 years clinical experience
- Warm, empathetic, and confident communicator with outstanding people skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working both independently and within a team
- Proactive and solution focused mindset
- Professional, calm, and reassuring in patient interactions
- Computer savvy and confident with digital systems and patient records
Key responsibilities:
- Providing pre operative education and preparation support to patients
- Conducting post operative follow ups
- Assisting with patient assessments and clinical documentation
- Supporting doctors and the wider clinical team as required
- Monitoring patient progress and escalating concerns appropriately
- Maintaining accurate, detailed, and confidential patient records
Pay: $50.00 per hour
Experience:
- Clinical Nursing: 4 years (Preferred)
