Location: Southland, Cheltenham.
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking Retail Assistant to join our busy variety store team. If you enjoy helping customers, working in a fast-paced environment, and being part of a supportive, friendly team, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while helping to keep the store clean, organised, and well-stocked.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting and assisting customers
- Operating the cash register and handling transactions
- Restocking shelves and maintaining product displays
- Unpacking deliveries
- Keeping the store clean, tidy, and organised.
- Assisting with store opening and closing duties
- Providing a positive shopping experience for all customers
What We're Looking For
- Friendly and positive attitude
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable performing physical tasks, including lifting stock and standing for extended periods.
- Previous retail experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
- Tuesday and Thursday full availability is required.

Expected Hours: 8- 23 hours per week
Pay: Competitive hourly rate in accordance with the General Retail Industry Award.
Pay: $24.95 – $40.00 per hour
