About the Opportunity
We are seeking an
IT Field Support Technician to support our Qscan clinics in QLD based at our
Toowong, Brisbane clinic.
As an IT Field Support Technician, you will provide technical and non-technical support to the clinic teams across Qscan Group on a rostered call cycle to ensure all clinics are sufficiently covered. The main clinics that you will support are in Brisbane and Sunshine Coast.
This position is offered on a
Permanent, Full-Time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Provision and deploy Windows workstations using Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager), including Autopilot enrolment, application deployment, policy configuration, and compliance management.
- Deliver onsite and remote IT support across multiple clinic locations, resolving hardware, software, networking, and peripheral issues.
- Plan and execute scheduled site visits, completing support tasks and preventative maintenance with minimal disruption to clinic operations.
- Administer Microsoft 365 and Active Directory, including onboarding, offboarding, and access management.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and vendor teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Manage workstation lifecycle activities, including imaging, deployment, upgrades, asset tracking, and hardware replacement.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery and user experience.
- Respond to inbound support calls and work closely with the centralised support desk.
- Participate in internal projects, contributing technical expertise and recommending system improvements.
- Provide technical and non‑technical support, including troubleshooting, configuration, ticket management, customer service, stock control, and service enhancement.
- Participate in the on‑call / after‑hours roster.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and liaise with external providers.
About You
You bring strong onsite support experience and confidence working with a variety of software packages (including MS Office and line‑of‑business applications). You’re comfortable supporting multiple clinics and balancing both technical and customer‑focused responsibilities.
You also have:
- A passion for improving service delivery and creating positive outcomes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and ownership of issues through to resolution.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- A collaborative mindset — supported by a centralised service desk.
- Desirable: Experience in the health industry, particularly radiology systems.
