The Position:
Includes the following work areas:
- Preparation and execution of test plans and testing strategies against product functional specifications and product standards.
- Assisting with the development/design team with a focus on the resolution of product defects
- Reproducing and analysing the root cause of internal and customer reported product issues
- Ongoing technical support of existing products, both internal and customer
- Assistance with configuring and testing special projects, including programming 3rd party interfaces
The position will be based in Perth, Western Australia.
It is a pre-requisite that the candidate possesses the necessary experience included in the following criteria, to be considered for the position.
Essential
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronics.
- Good understanding of the product development lifecycle.
- Good technical writing and computer skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Experience in working in a QA-accredited work environment;
- A good work ethic and attention to detail;
- Ability to manage own time and assigned resources to meet agreed timelines
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills and be team orientated.
Desirable
- Previous experience or knowledge of automation frameworks e.g. Testrails
- Familiar with public address, building management systems and life safety systems
