We are seeking a reliable and motivated Labourer / Truck Body Fitter to join our busy workshop team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone mechanically minded who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a supportive, hardworking team.
About the Role
You will assist with the fitting, assembly and modification of truck bodies and related components. The role involves a mix of general workshop labouring and skilled fitting work.
Your duties may include:
- Assisting with truck body installations and modifications
- Fitting toolboxes, trays, guards and accessories
- Basic fabrication and mechanical tasks
- Using hand and power tools
- General workshop maintenance and housekeeping
- Supporting tradespeople as required
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is mechanically minded
- Has experience in a workshop environment (preferred but not essential)
- Has experience with truck bodies, fabrication or mechanical work (advantage)
- Is physically fit and capable of manual work
- Has strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
- Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Can work both independently and as part of a team
