We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Assistant to be part of the Kickin'Inn family!
This role is initially offered on a part-time basis and provides hands-on experience across purchasing, inventory management, logistics and supplier coordination.
There is potential for the role to transition into a full-time position in the near future, depending on the growth needs of the business and the successful candidate's performance.
About the Role
Working closely with the Supply Chain Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day supply chain and procurement functions of the business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in supply chain, procurement, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers
- Source and identify new suppliers and products
- Assist with supplier negotiations and price discussions
- Coordinate procurement activities and purchase orders
- Track orders and monitor delivery schedules
- Follow up with suppliers regarding shipments, lead times, and product availability
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
- Support product sourcing and procurement projects
- Assist in developing and maintaining Retail Selling Prices (RSPs)
- Assist in creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Provide general administrative support to the supply chain function
Skills & Experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Previous experience in procurement, inventory management, administration, or supply chain is advantageous but not essential
Availability
Applicants must be available to work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
