Academic Support, Student Progress & Compliance Officer

About the Role
This is a critical role focused on monitoring student progress, ensuring compliance, and providing academic support to help students successfully complete their studies.
You’ll work closely with trainers, student services, and management to ensure accurate reporting, early intervention, and a high-quality student experience aligned with RTO and CRICOS requirements.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Monitor student academic progress, attendance, and course engagement
- Identify at-risk students and implement early intervention strategies
- Support trainers with academic integrity and assessment compliance
- Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping in RTOM
- Manage student progress reporting in line with RTO and CRICOS requirements
- Assist with audits by maintaining compliant and audit-ready documentation
- Support student enquiries related to progress, results, and course requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement of academic and compliance processes
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in an RTO, education, or compliance-focused role
- Strong understanding of student progress monitoring and reporting
- High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and support students
- Confidence working with systems and data
Highly Regarded
- Experience with CRICOS compliance and international students
- Familiarity with ASQA standards and training packages
- Experience using student management systems (e.g. RTOM)
- Background in academic support or student services

Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $56,255.49 – $65,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Sydney NSW 2000: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- RTO academic or compliance: 1 year (Preferred)
