What you'll be doing
The Enrolled Nurse (EN) within Mental Health Drug and Alcohol (MDHA) Services demonstrates competence in the provision of patient-centred care across a range of both acute and non-acute care settings providing support to both the nursing and multidisciplinary team. The EN works under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Annual Registration – Enrolled Nurse Division 2.
- Nursing knowledge and skills relevant to mental health.
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of team nursing and demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of the multi-disciplinary mental health team.
A commitment to excellence in mental health nursing practice and continuing professional development.
