Description of the role: We’re seeking a Principal to join our Business Advisory team. In this role you will provide strategic advice to a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from SMEs and family-owned businesses to larger privately held enterprises. You will be responsible for leading client engagements, mentoring team members, identifying growth opportunities, and contributing to the firm's overall strategic direction.
What makes you ‘just right’:
CA or CPA qualification.
10+ years' experience within public practice accounting.
Proven experience managing substantial client portfolios.
Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking skills.
Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Leadership experience with a passion for developing high-performing teams.
A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering outstanding client outcomes.
What your day might look like:
Lead and manage a portfolio of high-value business advisory clients.
Deliver strategic advice across business performance, profitability, cash flow, growth planning, succession planning, and risk management.
Develop trusted advisor relationships with business owners and key stakeholders.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities while expanding existing client relationships.
Lead complex advisory engagements and ensure exceptional client service delivery.
Mentor, coach, and develop managers and senior team members.
Collaborate with other service lines to provide integrated solutions for clients.
Contribute to the firm's leadership, culture, and strategic initiatives.
